One of my favorite clients just sent me a message and I wanted to share it. They adopted a two year old boy from Russia and want me to photograph him like I had done with their other two children, even though he wasn’t a baby. Here was their message to me.
“Dan,
Thank you again for taking Liam’s photos. It is so nice to see matching photos of all the kids on the wall together. Thank you also for the disc and the “bonus” surprise you put on there! We appreciate your talent and your care for us and our family. We will continue to spread the word about you.
Tim and Anya”
That’s why I love my job so much.

to the woman’s face. Honest? Yes. Insightful? Absolutely!Nicole, I think, while compassionate tarwod the young woman’s feelings or situation, you miss the point. Being fat or psychologically imbalanced will lead to all kinds of health problems. Obesity is a death sentence that takes decades, repeat decades, off of a person’s life. Just like smoking a pack a day.Dana is trying to lead people to a healthy lifestyle. If making a point using a total stranger who will never feel any pain from this blog completes my point. This story should make you motivated to act, not criticize. Get going and motivate others to get healthy in a positive way!And if seeing that young, nervous, obese woman on the subway makes you take action, do it! Because nobody in this politically correct world is going to call you out (or a stranger on the train) as fat, lazy or ugly. Those days of negative feedback are gone forever. So take the positive from this story to make a difference in our own life and those around you that you truly care for.
