I’ve been doing professional photography for many years and it’s always nice to do some on location commercial photography. Clear Channel Airports from Allentown Pennsylvanian called me to see if I would like to create some photographs for them at airports close to me. They needed photographs at the Dayton, Columbus and Cleveland airports. Clear Channel Airports manages all the displays at about 300 airports around the world and they needed to update their portfolio of images. Clear Channel needed photographs with people in them and it took a couple trips to each airport at different times to capture everything they needed. In the end their comment was “We received and reviewed all the photographs from each airport and they are perfect. Exactly what we wanted. Thanks for all your help.”

Well thank you Clear Channel, I look forward to working with you again.

The City of Dayton has a new mayor, Nan Whaley and counsel members, so it’s time for new professional portraits. I’ve had the privilege to take the official counsel photograph for many years. I did Nan Whale’s professional portrait a few years ago and when I photographed her this year she said “Dan, the portrait you took of me was so good that I used it for about 8 years now.” The City of Dayton has a display of all the different counsel photographs going back to about 1940 so it’s an honor to help them keep up their history.  These business portraits are being used on the City of Dayton’s web site, for all their public relations material and are even on display at the Dayton International Airport.  One of the benefits of being a professional photographer is all the interesting people you meet. I have photographed many business professionals and other politicians for annual reports and print marketing.
