Dayton Originals
The City of Dayton has a program where they highlight people, organizations and companies who they think make Dayton a better place. It’s called Dayton Originals. I received a call a couple months ago that I was nominated and approved by the City Commissioners. My studio is only the second photographer to be included. Location Business Headshot
I did a nice photo job for Jason Hoadley of StarWash Mobile Auto Detailing. www.StarWashdetailing.com He wanted a nice professional headshot of himself for his business. He was originally thinking a studio photograph but I said because of what he does, details cars, the photograph should be of him in front of a house and/or with his mobile detailing vehicle. (His Truck) So we went out on a nice February day, it was at least 18 degrees, and did a series of photographs. He’s planning ahead for spring when everyone will want nice clean cars. He was thrilled with how well the photographs turned out. So if you want professional head shots, either in the studio or out at your business call me 937-298-6776. First Year Baby Photography
I wanted to show off the album for latest graduate of my Littlest Angels first year baby plan program. I had a really good time photographing Maci this past year. This is the second child I had the privilege to photograph from the Patterson family. I photographed their son a couple years ago. In the middle of the year we even went to Cox Arboretum to do family portraits. During my Littlest Angel First Year Baby program I photograph each baby four time at 3 months, six months, nine months and 12 months. The parents receive a finished baby panel at the end of the year. High School Senior Portraits
Dalton from Stebbins high school in Dayton, Ohio came in for his high school senior portraits. We did studio portraits as well as casual outdoor high school senior photographs. Dalton was great to work with. His mother wanted black & white photographs as well as color. Dalton did have some of the normal teenage acne and because we do retouching on every image the portraits really turned out perfect.

Black & White Fine Arts Photograph of Downtown Dayton
Day five of the black and white photo challenge. I started a new series of black & white photos this fall that takes me back about 30 years to doing some street photography. The idea is to find urban landscapes and include include part of the downtown high rise buildings in the shot. I went to the Korean War memorial which is across the river from downtown Dayton. I took a few photographs at various places when this young boy started running laps around the park. I timed this photograph as he ran though the frame.
Black & White photograph at Weslyan Dayton Metro Park, Dayton, Ohio
Day four of my black & white photo challenge. I made this photograph two years ago right after Christmas. We had about eight inches of snow and then a high pressure system came in so there was a beautiful blue sky. Normally in Ohio in the winter the sky is a gloomy sort of gray. I went to Wesleyan MetroPark which is small park close to downtown Dayton. There are three small rivers that converge at downtown Dayton and the river that goes through Weslyan MetroPark is called the Wolf Creek. I made many really good photographs that day but this is the best black & white photograph.

Day three of the Black & White photo challenge. This young lady came into the studio a couple months ago for my junior models program. She wanted to try out a full model photo shoot and wanted to look glamorous. She was a lot of fun to work with. Our junior models photography session let young boys and girls try a professional photo shoot by a 25 year professional photographer at a nominal cost.
