Dan received a call from a web design company that asked if I know how to photograph glass? I said isn’t glass clear? How do you photograph something that is clear? You photograph something that is clear very carefully. Machine Glass Specialist is a company who creates industrial glass pieces. These glass parts are used by companies all over the worlds as part of their manufacturing process. Some of these glass parts are clear, some are translucent, some parts are opaque. These machined parts are very precise and they wanted quality photographs that would represent their products.
Dan has years of experience helping companies with their image. One of the best decisions you can make is to hire a professional photographer to create content for your company’s web site. Very few contemporary photographer have a studio with lighting equipment that can produce high quality product photographs like these. Dan had a pre-photography discussion with the web site development company to go over all the details of the project. It was decided to photograph all the glass products against a black background. Dan used dramatic lighting to highlight the intricate details of each glass part. After the studio photographs were taken Dan edited the images so they were ready to use on the company’s new web site. Professional Headshots of Local Author
These photographs are of a friend of mine Tom Rubens. Tom is an entrepreneur, business coach and author. He needed professional photographs of himself for his website, book jacket and other public relations needs. We talked about were to do the headshot portraits, in the studio or on location. Tom wanted something a little different and we decided on a location. Fortunately the day we were both available was great weather. I did a series of five different poses both indoors and outdoors.
Hiring a professional photographer is very important
Tom wanted something more natural looking. He wanted his photographs not to look stiff. I have many years experience working with business people from all over the country and many different industries. Some people want studio portraits and other people want location photographs. There are many natural light, location only photographer out there but most don’t have the experience to create professional looking portraits. A snap shot is not a professional photograph.
Finishing Your images
After the portrait session comes the final part of the process. I take the time to do retouching and enhancement work on the images. I don’t deliver straight out of the camera images to my clients. I take the extra time to finish the photographs. Retouching is as important to your image as the photography is. I have 30 years experience to make your portraits perfect. I’m not looking to make your photographs look glamorous but make them look natural.

Advantages of Hiring a Professional Business Photographer For Marketing and SEO
It is a well known fact in this day and age that if you want a marketing strategy that will take your business to the sky and beyond, and search engine optimization that will have you at the top of search engine results, you need to have an aesthetically pleasing set of photos on your website.
In short, if you want to be seen as the best in your line of business, you need to invest in business photography.
The Impact of Professional Photography on a Business
No matter whether the business is large or small, it needs to be seen as credible and reliable, not to mention beneficial. And there is no better way to do so than to add a corporate photography element to your marketing strategy.
Business photography and corporate photography done by professionals have a very positive impact on the clients of the business. If a potential client visits the website of the business, it will give a better impression, if the photos on the website are of excellent quality and up to the highest ideals of professional photography.
Advantages of Hiring Professional Photography Services for your Business
A Highly Professional Image
A business needs an image that is crisp and professional, and not one that appears to be put together haphazardly. An internet based presence, such as a website, is all about the first impression conveyed via the first image. In accordance with that, it is always better to hire a professional business and corporate photographer for marketing and better online presence.
Original Photos Appeal More than Stock Images
The practice of adding stock images to a website usually leads to the online presence of the business getting lost in the crowd of search engine results.
Original images present a more personal and honest touch, while at the same time setting the business apart from the competitors. The owners of the business can also use the original photos to further promote the business on social media, or as part of a larger marketing and search engine optimization strategy.
A Customized Image
Perhaps the biggest advantage of hiring a business photography company is the customized images that they can present the business with.
While stock images can be used, they will be quite generic and run-of-the-mill, to say the least. If a business wants to show the potential client what it is about, and how it can be of benefit to the customer, it has to present all of its good aspects in a glance, which can be done through the personalized and customized touch of business photography.

For the past months I have been creating photographs at the Kenwood Retirement facility on Cincinnati, Ohio.
This project required me to take exterior, interior and people photographs. I really love working with people but there are times when I like working out the lighting on interior photographs. It takes skill and experience to be able to balance all the lights, the windows and rooms to create images that the client can use for all their needs.
My client used these photographs for printed pieces, billboards and even in videos that aired in TV commercials. I was very lucky that the day we did the exterior photographs there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, just blue skies. The retirement facility has a memory floor and they have found that a dog is a great help to the people who have started to loose their memory. The photograph of the nurse with the dog was a candid photography but it was one of the best out of all the images I created.
But a retirement facility is all about how they can help the elderly people on a daily basis, so many of the photographs included people. People in the pool exercising, people eating in one of the many dining areas or using the exercise room. Kenwood retirement facility even has juke boxes so the residents can have a little fun.
One of the good things about a project like this is I get to use all my creative skills as a certified professional photographer. I get to work with professionals who needs quality photographs for all their public relations and marketing needs. These photographs help Kenwood Retirement facility create a warm and inviting image to the general public.
